Peter Naldrett is a journalist and geography teacher who spends much of his free time walking with his family in the Peak District National Park. Frustrated by the lack of definitive guides to the area’s tallest climbs, he set out to capture some of the more challenging routes in a series of books, Trigpoint Walks In The Peak District. After spells working at several newspapers, Peter entered a career in teaching and currently works at a South Yorkshire secondary school. He also writes regularly as a freelance writer, contributing music and film reviews to newspapers and a wide range of features to national magazines. Recent credits include The Daily Telegraph, The Big Issue, Classic Rock, Gay Times and Dogs Monthly.

Peter lives close to the Peak District with his wife, Nicola, and son, Toby.
